GED Writing Review

Course Overview:

This course will review the skills necessary to pass the Writing portion of the GED. Topics that will be covered include: Basic English Usage, Sentence Structure, Grammar, and Organization.

Outline:

Students will take the Writing pretest to identify areas where they will need to work and then develop a study plan to prepare for the pretest.
Students will correctly identify the answer to questions involving correct usage and sentence structure.
Students will write well-formed sentences and paragraphs in essay form.
Students will write essays in preparation for the GED exam.
Students will practice critical thinking skills necessary to doing well on the GED exams.
Students will review what they have learned and prepare for the GED Writing Exam.
