Learn to write a competitive grant proposal in a 3-week synchronous, instructor led, online course. In this course, participants will learn both practical and conceptual aspects that are important to the proposal-writing process. Emphasis is given to proposal idea development, identification of the appropriate granting agency and developing relationships with funders, how to write for reviewers, and tips and strategies of proven value in presenting an applicant’s case to reviewers. Topics will include the components of a grant proposal, ethical principles in grant writing, forming community partnerships, finding funding opportunities and demonstrating sustainability..

Instructional Technology Assistant
The Instructional Technology Assistant will provide oversite and guidance for students that are working in a course or during the completion process that can include internships/ externships. The Instructional Technology Assistant will have experience working as an education coordinator or trainer. Some subject matter experts can provide hands on examples or monitor testing for competency. They can support technology and help lead the session for modules of leaning in classroom or online. Proctors have coaching skills to provide group leadership or one on one. .
